Individual weekly lessons give students a distraction-free environment, with tuition tailored to their needs. My goal is to lay the foundations of a lifelong love of music. I engage each child with a balanced curriculum that considers student enjoyment and the building blocks of music education.
Students are taught to read music, along with learning Technique, Repertoire and Music Theory. Piano repertoire is selected from a range of styles — Classical, Folk Songs, Jazz and Popular Music — to suit each child's personality and interests. Lessons are available in 30, 45 or 60 minute sessions.
I am dedicated to introducing young children to the wonderful world of music. With years of experience working specifically with children aged 4 and above, I understand that every child learns differently.
My approach combines Music Theory and Technique with creative lessons to keep young minds engaged and excited about learning, adding appropriate repertoire as the student progresses.
I believe that starting musical education early builds confidence, improves concentration, and gives children a gift they'll treasure for life.
